Extracorporeal Life Support

We also offer a system for extracorporeal life support in patients with refractory cardiac arrest. With a patient on bypass it is possible to perform further diagnostics without the need for mechanical chest compressions.
The use is restricted for patients <70 years, witnessed arrest, bystander CPR and CPR for >10min. We have a standardized protocol for the use of ECLS (extracorporeal life support).
